Nope, not even close. But I have had alot of "where did you get this'n that" so, maybe, eventually. But alot of my stuff is modded over and over and over again until finally, it's wearable. So maybe not')

Just about 90% of people look the same to me. The only way I can really ID them is 'furry with a hat' and 'furry with a penis'. Take a visit to the WA and you'll see at least five blond, large breasted, tan amazon women with only differing traits being where their blind is attached. Doesn't really bother me too much though. Its a game where people can look however they want if it makes them happy.

Speaking of creepy...

I've never run across someone who looked like my av... in SL.

But just the other day I was walking down the alley behind my office, when someone passed me on a bike that looked eerily like it. She had the same body type, hairstyle, and tomboyish fashion sense. She even seemed to have the same attitude, with a little Mona Lisa smirk as she rode by on her cruiser.

It was really quite disturbing, as my av was a fantasy creation and here was the reality.

No. I created my own skin so it's unlikely I would see somebody that looks exactly like me. I have even avoided selling my skin, out of fear that I might some day face my virtual doppleganger. However, just for fun, I did give my skin to a couple of friends who tried it on. Much to my surprise, they did not look like me at all. It is amazing how much shape has to do with your appearance.

Beauty (or beast) is much more than skin deep :)

When I first came to SL, I was unique. Now I'm a dime a dozen... (see the shirtless male AV thread) :(

Yes, I did. I tried to kill her a few times then I realized it was my alt. Then I killed myself for having sex with her. Just so no more clones would sprout from our heads.

Personally I have never seen another av that looks like me as I change my look so often. I was a demon for about a month when I first joined SL. I have been a fairy, pony, cenobite, vamp, cyborg, human, and bunny and kitty tinies. It really depends on my mood or how I want to look that day. I have tons of skin, hair, and different types of clothing that I change often. A few things that never change on me is my piercings, spiked armband, and my lovely collar. I also have my kitty ears but sometimes I take them off if they are hidden by my hair heh.

If by amazon you mean tall, well I do have a tall av as I am tall irl and like to be tall in SL. I am shorter than I was when I started though because I was maxed out on height back then. I'm not sure about the other women you speak of as I hang out in the WA quite often. The only ones I see there usually have their fancy Edge title on *snickers* :p

Well no, My avi's nose is crooked and broken, and he is not exactly handsome. But think in a world where people sell Avi SHAPES, it is likely that some people have he same avi.
Also, especially for guys, ther are only a few reasonable hairstyles out their, so many of us will have the same hair.

Well I guess its not fair to use the word amazon, being that its hard for people to tell exactly how tall they are. My avie is 5'5, and most people tower over me by 2-3 feet. And yeah, the Edge people and the sorts were some of the ones I was referring to.

Custom shape, custom skin, and a style I've never seen duplicated.. so I'm fine!

It's worse for furries though.. which is why my custom Furry skin service gets so much work.

If you buy a no-transfer skin then you can copy it... so you can make variations of it, or put it in multiple folders along with other avatar components.

Only if the skin is moddable, and even then most purchased skins can't be edited unless by "edit" you mean "replace the texture and break it".

I've started selling my skins no-mod, because mod won't allow any useful changes. I'd happily make a mod version for people though if they asked.

Ehh. The only avatar that looks like me is my alt, since I made my own skin. ;)

I didn't play that game very long, and yet that still made my day. Thanks. :D

Cute, Psyra!

I've never seen anyone who looks like me, which is kind of odd, since I look the same as when I created myself on Orientation Island.

Never really seen anyone just *exactly* the same - I spent ages loooong ago when I started, messing with my avatar's face and shape and I've kept that largely the same barring minor tweaks as one of the few 'almost constants' in this fluid ever changing metaverse. I never did get the hips quite right and there are ways I'd like to improve the face - but then humans are infinitely variable and there is no 'right' - it's the imperfections and oddnesses that make the individual :)

Been on the skins and hair shopping trail again of late though, lovely stuff !

I also morph all the time into furries/dragons/demons/elves etc, but they are often as not an indulgent grab-bag of parts from here and there, and I'll usually adapt my human shape into them to retain that part of 'me' as a 'unique' identification. Fascinating thing about wearing different forms is the way they focus and intensify a certain part of the character, a good way of exploring the inner self through its externalisation....

My tanned and tribally spotted horned demoness/succubus with a huge mane of black and red hair is one of my faves at the moment ;)

But...it's all fantasy anyhow :p

I'd be quite surprised if someone wanted to duplicate my poor fashion sense and peasant-stock body style.

I mean, seriously; gadget fedora, tinted sunglasses, blazer jacket, tie, and jeans? Sossy. But never duplicated. ;)

I've never run into anyone that was an exact duplicate of my appearance, of any of my bodies in any of my outfits, and with over 60 different species and even more variations you'd think if anyone was going to get inadvertantly cloned it'd be me.
