Friend and me are building this two island project soon which consist of international wonders so the speak. I was hoping since lots of people can't make it to these exotic wonders due to money or whatever, if someone like me was to build such landmarks would you think of visiting such places here online?

Here is what I was looking at, if you can pick at least three you believe would be something you would see in a game please post here.

Abusimbel emple in Egypt
Angkor Wat in Cambodia
Borobudur Temple in Indonesia
The Inca City of Machu Picchu in Pueru
The Moai Statues in Rapa Nui in Chile
Mont-Saint-Michel in Norway
Taj Mahal in Agra, India
Angel Falls in Venezuela
The Great Barrier Reef in Austrialia
Iguacu Falls in Brazil
Niagara Falls in Ontario Canada
Victoria Falls in Zambia
The Eiffel Tower in Paris
The Statue of Cristo Redentor in Rio De Janeiro
Sydney Opera House, Austrialia
The Pyramids and Sphinx in Egypt

Added Wednesday June 14:
Potala Palace in Lhasa, Tibet

Tough choices there.

My first choice would be Machu Picchu, because I've always wanted to visit it in real life and haven't yet had the opportunity.

Second would be Angkor Wat, but I don't know if SL will hold that many prims. :D That would be a hard one.

I think Mont-Saint-Michel would lend itself well to a SL build.

If you can pull it off, what I'd like to see (and IT HAS TO BE GOOD).

1. Eiffel Tower
2. Taj Mahal

The egyptian stuff is overdone in SL. So is anything based on gardens etc. And btw how would you put the great barrier reef in a sim!?

Taj Mahal, Angkor Wat, and the Borobudur temple. I'd rather not see natural landmarks recreated -- not that those things aren't beautiful in RL, but SL does a poor job with landscapes.

I'd like to see Minas Tirith but I estimated that it may take 4 sims together to fit it in.

1: The Sydney Opera House, it is beautiful.

2: The Statue of Cristo Redentor, that I would love to see.

3: The Sydney Opera House again, because we just won our first match in the World Cup, and I'm feeling especially patriotic.

My 3 choices would be:

- The Inca City of Machu Picchu in Pueru
- Mont Saint Michel (although don't you mean the one in Normandy, France? One of my favourite places to visit when I'm in the area)
- Sydney Opera House, Austrialia

If Mont Saint Michel has been done already (I have to see that!) then the Eiffel tower Niagara Falls might be inspiring sights.

That would be a cool build, though it doesn't have to be full scale.

If Mont-Saint-Michel was created already then I would make a multi-sim of it with the highest details spread out as much as possible.

@Wendel Gascoigne: Yes sorry about that, I met to put in Normandy, France.

@Jillian Callahan: If you mean by doing Potala Palace in Lhasa, Tibet then I can try doing something like that, but have to be more people wanting it.

@Everyone Else

Please keep it up, I am hoping to get started soon as I get more details as much as possible on some of these places.

I also added on there Potala Palace in Lhasa, Tibet on the list.

I want to see Mount Doom :)

This is an incredible idea. Props to SilentCid.

Btw that list looks like the list of Wonders from Civilization IV but you're missing:

The Forbidden Palace
Chichen Itza
Hagia Sophia
Kashi Wishwanath
The Mahabodhi Temple
Temple of Solomon

Wasn't there a diner in the shape of a hotdog once? That would be cool.

I'd love to see Ankor Wat, but your prim usage would be horrendous, hehehe!

And the Taj Mahal!

Maybe the Great Barrier Reef. That would be awesome!

Good luck! If you need any help building, holler!

Abu Simbel would be good--lots of large simple shapes--would be especially fun if it would work with the sunlight reaching back into the interior at certain times.

I would go for the Moai on Rapa Nui, particulalry if done restored, on their platforms, with the shell eyes and the topknots intact

One thing I have yet to see in world is agood recreation of an 17th-18th century Vauban style fortification, Ticonderoga, or part of Fortress Louisbourg, perhaps?

My partner and I were looking at Caverns to be implemented in SL, just didn't know if that would be in high interest to the SL public. We would keep that in mind.
