Very impressive! But then, this is exactally the kind of quality and detail that I have come to associate with Nephilaine's work.

Yeus, the sim indeed is spectacular. I spent half an hour just skipping around Kawaii-ku, playing ukulele (yes I'm a retard
). I feel truly at home when I'm in Nakama. Love, respect and professionalism are what I sense from this sim. I think I have to spread the word to the new Residents from Japan. It will be a great introduction to this amazing world. Congratulations, Neil-san and Neph-san! I can't wait to see what you'll be adding to the sim! |

Excellent concept work and execution. Didn't explore all of it but I like what I see.
Nitpick: Tram kinematics need some improvement at turns. Also I didn't know if that was just a boarding ramp or a waiting platform (turned out to be the former and I had to scramble off the thing). |

Also I didn't know if that was just a boarding ramp or a waiting platform (turned out to be the former and I had to scramble off the thing). A few people have mentioned this..... That train has been the bain of my existence, I spent better than two weeks trying to get that train working properly and sadly this was the best I could come up with. I used Mr. Gomez' keyframing script and modified it to speed up the straight aways but since the curve algo he had doesnt quite work for my setup I had to adjust to use linear. Since the train itself is well over 31 prims I cant use the physics system to move it nice and smooth, which leaves me only the movement system, which sadly is poor at best. If anyone out there has run across a train that make a continuous loop the size of the one I have in the sim and moves without using physics please please please please forward me a landmark to it, I would sorely love to have a better train in there than what I have now. _____________________

It's a beautiful sim. Of course the anime theme is a big starter for me, but the multiple themes and designs so neatly integrated, the feeling of space and the slightly nervousness every time I flew through a railroad tunnel
![]() The only downer is not being able to rent a house there ![]() |

Of course it's very likely that what you need is out there somewhere too. @Everyone else The beauty of the concept of Nakama is that the quarters cover at least 4 different "genres." I clearly identified clean modern area, dirty look dock area, playful colorful area. Most of the center area is realistic city look. The arrival point is lush garden. |

Candie I concur with the lovely Ms. Apple, Nakama is the most impressive work I have ever seen in SL, and it is absolutely not a surprise who is behind it. Neph and Neil, you have outdone yourselves and should be proud of creating such an incredible environment. It is a joy just to explore it - you definitely feel like you are experiencing an alternate world. The fact that it is just one sim is the most incredible part - it has such a sense of enormous scale. Congrats to you both. It definitely has inspired me to refocus my creative energies back into SL again. _____________________

Wow! I visited this afternoon and was completely blown away. What a wonderful job. The texture work is stunning and the layout and design are breathtaking. Congratulations on creating what I feel is the most compelling content area in all of SL. I look forward to bringing new residents here to show them how much is actually possible in SL. Thank you so much for your work!

Thank you all very, very much for your kind words. Neil and I are glad you're enjoying Nakama. We've got a lot planned for the coming weeks in the way of expansions, new stores, events and activities...so hopefully, it will just continue to get better. Thanks for coming out and exploring!! <3 _____________________
