When you're looking at picture and try to pan around corners. (and, yes, I figured this was a common topic, on another net I'm on the phrase "You Know You've Been Hacking Too Long When..." is usually abbreviated YKYBHTLW and everyone knows what yu're talking about. |

When you close out entire applications thinking they'll still be in the same state when you open them back up.  The Mac was originally supposed to work that way, with all apps saving state and starting up reloading it, but the idea never caught on. I constantly hit Shift-Ctrl-N to force daylight in WoW or any other game I play. Or, I’ll encounter an obstacle and think for a split second, “I should just rez a cube and ride it to the other side of the zone” or “I’ll just sit-teleport back up to the shore”, ect. Happens to me all the time, hell I was playing a Zelda game the other day and caught myself multiple times thinking, “Why am I playing without forcing daylight? Oh, that’s right, there is no keyboard here”
One other recent one for me IRL is roofs. I’ll look at the roof of a building and think, “They did a fantastic job covering up the texture skewing on that roof!” _____________________

Yup....When I am watching TV, for just a brief moment, I glance in the upper right hand corner of the screen for my camera controls And I know someone.....who MAY have.....possibly.....seen Tringo pieces in the tiled floor of Wal*Mart's bathroom. But it's never been confirmed _____________________

I long ago went from thinking prims irl to thinking about roofs, and various cuts and angles. I do so wish there was a way I could just cut a part of the roof. (The texture skewing is soon to be a thing of the past, yay!) I don't go anywhere anymore without looking at houses, roofs, windows, etc. And yes, my last thoughts at night are usually about my latest build. I do think that qualifies as obsession. coco _____________________
