If the proposal is as I understand it...then it'd just be banning from a particular parcel...I'm sure innocent users have been banned from parcels heretofore.

If we're talking about a global ban, well, then you're right...

If it's restricted to private sims then it becomes their business already. Thing is, those who can change their IPs quickly are still not likely to be affected.

I'm not too happy myself with the "almost no requirement" reg system. It allows us to make alts easy (though I have none yet), it allows those of less means to try out SL, but it does give griefers a very powerful griefing tool.

Credit card verification. Yes.
And since we probably won't see that happening anytime.. like, ever again... *cough*solution coming soon*cough* it may be time to stock up on weapons, security devices, and things that go boom. :D

well maybe if LL made it that you can ban unlimited basic account users and ban limited permium accounts, I think that would help out more since too easy to grab another account and keep on griefing.. Or Just change your sim into a group access only.. that always help

Aodhan. Works.. works well. You simply ban IP ranges. Please ask your ISP about their IP assignemtn pattern, it is surprisingly deterministic (aside you use AOL)
