From: Krittle Kolache Is fluent English a requirement for admission to all colleges in the world? Not really, But universities in English speaking countries, specifically the US has a requirement that anyone who is not a native English speaker take written/spoken English courses prior to their major coursework. Generally, the non-native English speakers I've know, have good and sometimes better written English than native English speakers. Specifically, in the US, I'd expect better written English from a new International student (eg: Indian) vs an American student fresh out of highschool.

From: Summer Carmichael Maybe this person is dyslexic and English is not their first language. Even if this is true (which I sincerely doubt), it doesn't change the fact that people judge others by their communication skills. If you communicate like a 10 year old, then without further information, people are going to judge that what you have to say is of equal value. It may or may not be fair, but it is a fact of life.

Your argument is completely irrelevant if the original poster is attending college in a non-native English speaking country. These forums are open to people all over the world and it is ridiculous to criticize people for not knowing English well enough to keep from making grammatical errors here.

You are mistaken if you feel I (personally) was making fun of her grammatical errors. Quiet taken by what you wrote there. I thought she was a troll to be honest. And from what others posted here, I feel it's the OP's attitude that's in question here not her English. Please read the OP's previous threads.
