I've just had a moment of epiphany! Suddenly, in a serene moment of clarity, I've worked it out.
Linden Lab has corporate Attention Deficit Disorder.
That's why we hear about lots of fantastic things that are coming, but they never seem to arrive and they move on to other things.
I feel a new sig coming.

I feel a new sig coming. That's basically it, I think. Sums up my thoughts nicely. I think this is why they hired Karen Linden onto the team in order to force some order itno the development process. I'd wager the last 5-6 months have been Karen directing the other Lindens to clean up and integrate their 400 various separate projects, past and present, into a workable tree. I wager we're still a few months off at least until we get some juicy bits. Truly juicy bits. Just my guess.
