"There is no vast conspiracy within AnsheChung.com to take over Linden Labs, Second Life, and Everything else.

Anshe does not control Philip Linden via remote control from Germany.

I am not secretly Scott McClellen in RL.

Those are just silly rumors.

This is not the poll you're looking for.

Move along.

Hey, it worked in Star Wars Galaxies, I figured it was worth a shot.

From: Aimee Weber

Dear Mr. or Mrs. Forum,

Allow me to introduce myself. I am Amy Weebler, not to be mistaken with the regally aspiring Aimee Weber. I am currently in the market to commit a variety of unsavory acts. While I am filled with the inclination to commit the crime, I am loath to the prospect of doing the time. As such, I would like to inquire as to how many sims I must purchase to enjoy "special treatment." I would define this term as "near immunity to Linden diciplinary action" as well as "reparations for any losses I may have incurred as a result of actions conducted by the Lindens."

Yours Truly,
Amy Weebler

Dear Madamoisselle Weebler,

My name is Hiroashi PoliceOfThe Forum. It is a great pleasure to meet you indeed. I must note that I am in no way related or associated with Mr. Hiro Pendragon, who is an honorable and sweet young man whose katanas you should consider purchasing en masse. I commend thee, lovely Madamoisselle, for thine interest in avoiding crime, and preferring to take a more underhanded, and hence righteous, path of favoritism.

I would like to inform you that "special treatment" as you defined is impossible. However, should you choose to remove the word "near" from the start of your definition, as well as replace the word 'Lindens' at the end with the word 'anyone', then perhaps I may be able to help you.

I shall inform you then that the answer is that it is not the number of sims you possess, but which ones that matters. For instance, owning even a small amount of land in Ahern, Morris, De Haro (or "Of the Haro", as the Spaniads say), Indigo (or "purple", as the Spaniards say), Midnight City, Slootsville, Lusk (or "OMG THE FURRIES!" as the Spaniards say), Taber, Ambleside, Welsh, Gibson, Varney, and especially "Boom Boom Club Island" (or "OMG THE PR0N!" as the Spaniards say) makes one exceptionally FIC, and therefore part of an oldbie conspiracy, et cetera, et cetera, and so on.

Perhaps you should meet with the most excellently corrupt Aimee Weber, as she is truly the alt of His Holiness King Philip Linden Esquire M.D.

Salutations, and well met, lovely mustached Madamoiselle Weebler!

Highest regards and exubitations!

Duke Baron Von Hiroashi PoliceOfThe Forum IV, PHD (or, as the Spaniards say, "Rico Suave";)

I say 100+

But you must have secret meetings with the Lindens and claim libel/slander from your competition.
