OMG RICHIE THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVES
Glad you brought this up--it's a bug in our database, and yeah... it went kinda unnoticed for the last stretch of months. Very few have noticed it, e.g. myself, Lost Thereian, and who else now? So weird; it seems it wasn't being consciously used all that much? My latest... tee hee hee! Still a bug in 1.9.1 (11). (previously bug-reported several times in 1.8, 1,9, etc.) REPRO: Make sure Preferences > Graphics > Avatar Rendering > Bump Mapped & Cloth is enabled. Right-click yourself, go into Appearance, and go to any modifiable item of clothing with a Wrinkles slider. Drag the slider back and forth, from 0 to 100. OBSERVED: Nothing happens. EXPECTED: Bumpmapped wrinkle effects should appear. This was noticed as having no effect many releases ago. Not sure what happened but it's still gone. If this isn't being used a lot, maybe it should be removed for simplicity. (Logic being, if it WAS used a lot in existing content, there would have been a lot of vocal complaints by now.) Or replaced. P.S. This happens whether Vertex Shaders are on or off. _____________________
