The illustrious Hamlet Au recently published an article that did something really fun ... it reduced residents to point-based character traits!!
   OH COME ON! IT'S FUN!Lets do it oursevles. With the help of Crystalshard Foo and myself, I reviewed the Dungeon & Dragons standard for character stuff. Here is how it goes (and how i would interpret it in SL): Strength - Our force of personality! Intelligence Dexterity - Agillity, creativity Wisdom Constitution - Our inner strength in the face of drama Charisma I will go first! AIMEE WEBER ---------------- Strength: 17 Intelligence: 8 Dexterity: 18 Wisdom: 12 Consitution:7 Charisma:18 _____________________

Shouldn't there be a limit to the total number of points we're allowed to use?
Like for instance, were allowed 100 points total and then we have to distribute them among the categories. |

Shouldn't there be a limit to the total number of points we're allowed to use? Like for instance, were allowed 100 points total and then we have to distribute them among the categories. OH! according the my google on D&D... these points go from 3-18 except for some weird rules about strength. Was I too kind to myself? LOL I am not very familiar with the game. _____________________

I think this scheme lacks negative numbers.
Maybe imaginary and irrational numbers should be used also. _____________________

Chimes in without reading further.... weird stuff regarding STR died out pretty much after 3rd Edition rules came out hehe no more 18/00 strength? WTF? LOL Strength - 17 Intelligence - 20 exterity - 14 Wisdom - 15 Cnsitution - 25 Charisma - 18 I am wearing Studded Leather pants which gives me an AC of 13 plus my DEX bonus of +2 for a total of AC=15 I am wearing a custom orange tattoo which grants me the See Invisiprims ability. And since I have demon blood, that gives me all kinds of other bonuses _____________________

Oh, and statswise... ST 8 IQ 13 DX 15 HT 11 ... I've played more GURPS than anything else. |

Intelligence - 14 - or is that Dexterity? Dexterity - 12 - or is that Intelligence? Wisdom - 16 - enough to know not to let people know how influential I am ! doh Constitution - 8 - that PA keeps biting me on the butt it does Charisma - 16 - I do get people's attention ha ha ha _____________________
