Hmm . . . I couldn't find an "all." I'm no economic genius, that's for sure. But it seems to me that when I arrived in SL, the Linden was peaking somewhere around $4 per thousand, and hovering somewhere below that. Then it fell when it became clear that GOM was going and Lindex was arriving. (Feel free to correct me, anyone, if my memory isn't right about that.) Since then, it seems like the value of the Linden has been lower, not higher, and not in the ranges it used to be. I don't follow it that much, though, so someone can correct me if I have that wrong. And I'm even less sure what the ramifications of any of that are. coco

From: Karsten Rutledge This sounds like a fantastic idea. Make them wear a little light-up sign on their heads, like you see on top of pizza delivery cars. You've gotta be kidding. First Impeach Bush signs in my sim, now it's on everyone's head. Are you all trying to make me a republican???? LOL Troy

You got here right after major economic factors had rocketed the L$ upward. Before you showed up, L$ was at about 3.84/thousand. Then event support was cut, stipend bonuses were trimmed, ratings cost increased 2500%. This is not even taking into account the fun stuff that was affecting the land market. The end result was $4.20/thousand for a brief period. Then, as markets are wont to do, the L$ pendulum swung back the other way. You saw the L$ at an unusually robust peak that was influenced by myriad factors that were set into motion long before you showed up.

Troy It was a joke, man. Chill out. And I guess you've never ordered pizza if you think they strap 10m cubes to the roof of their cars. 'Why is my pizza so flat?' 'Probably the same reason my car is. Have a nice day.'
