what's with the forum clock?

Anyone else seeing a disparity between the forum clock and SL or even PST time? Like right now it's 2:08 PST but when I post this message it will show it as 9:06 PST.

Also, anyone else getting the crash message when you try to load SL, and then unable to avctually load the game whether you send repiort or not?

Have you set your time zone for the forums?

User CP -> Edit Options -> Time Zone

Then perhaps there's a two minute difference between the world clock and forum clock.

Hmm ... Someone else just asked teh same question just 5 minutes ago.

You should be able to reset to the correct time zone by going to user cp (top left) then changing the time zone under edit options.

Or maybe someone at LL broke it?

You sure you've got YOUR forum clock set to Pacific Time? It sounds like you've got it set to GMT instead of PDT. (Yes, PDT, not PST. It's daylight saving time until October.) To change it, go to the Quick Links menu at the top of the screen, and then go to Edit Options. Scroll down the page to where it says Date & Time Options, and use the drop-down menu to choose whatever time zone you'd prefer to see.

As for the 2-minute discrepency, I would be suprised if whatever server the forum is on were synced exactly with the SL clock. They are independant systems.
