We are investigating a fix and will post updates when we have more news. At this point we expect that we will have to shut the grid down for a short period this afternoon to resolve the issue. Announcements will be made in-world if this proves necessary. The annoncement says a few minutes.. based on previous experience, this usually means sometime before tomorrow. Meanwhile, here's my betting pool: 3 rolling updates 2 emergency viewer patches (one today, then one tomorrow) 1 asset server overload/crash (tomorrow) 45,291 sex poseball failures 26 grid is down/grid is up posts 6 "where's my stuff??" posts 3 "omg this new screenshot stuff sux!" posts lagging behind everybody else's Time for grid return: 9:45PM (PST) today, then down one hour later |

What would people do if SL shut down, for, lets say 2 weeks.
Actuually, lets say it will not come back up for 2 weeks starting today. What is your reaction? P.S. At least we get updates. Look at TSO. No "update" since December LAST YEAR! _____________________

Thanks for the correction though...that's what I get for quoting from memory with a memory as bad as mine. =P Umm...what was this thread about again? =O.o= _____________________
