I am somewhat amused by avatars with the names of objects. Ceiling Fan is an example; I happened to come to rest inworld in front of some ceiling fans which prompted me think about this.
A day or two ago I ran into someone who made use of the last name Manuel to make an object name joke; their name is "Instruction Manuel".
What are some object name avatars you know of? Are there any folks with an object named avatar such as "Desk Lamp" or "Sponge Mop" who use an avatar that looks like the object they are named for?

My avatar doesn't look anything like its name atm, though a Klein bottle or Moebius ring AV would be cool.

My wife and a handfull of friends came over from TSO, and they chose the last name "Page". So... First Page (my wife), Same Page, Previous Page, Cover Page, TheBest Page.... there's a Web Page also but I forget if he just happened upon their friendship here in SL or if he migrated from TSO also.

Ok just curious, and besides the obvious, what is with the name Page? I cam from TSO and still have friends that play the game and I see on a certain website as of late that the last name Paige is is a hot item.

This isn't a thing, precisely, but I saw one math geeks might like, someone named Space Hilbert.
When I see a ceiling fan in SL it makes me think of Ceiling Fan. There might be some marketing value in this sort of name, especially if one wanted to sell virtual ceiling fans.

Shrimp Curry is fine. Thanks for posting.
I bet there are a lot of cool names taken for a lark for accounts that don't get used much.

I started checking the Fans. There was no Box Fan, which is an obvious possible choice. There was the predictable Electric Fan.
These object named people should get avatars that look like the object they are named for and get together and have a chat.

Was there an Oscillating Fan?

From: Joy Honey Was there an Oscillating Fan? No Oscillating Fan. There is a Corsair Fan, I think Corsair is a brand name that makes blowdriers and possibly household fans as well. This doesn't fit the object criteria, but there is a MyOwnBiggest Fan. Ah, there is a fan we are all familiar with - Noisy Fan. I've run across several of those in my lifetime. There's a Rotary and a Rotating Fan
