For months Philip Linden's green, plywood cube graced Barnesworth Anubis' lawn in an airtight, sealed, glass case in Boardman. People came for all over the grid to see it and take snapshots. It contained a mysterious unamed script which according to some had special powers. Some even say it smelled a little bit like Philip. One visitor claimed that when she visited the cube, it miraculously cleared up her rash. This morning, on January 1st 2006, the cube has been reported stolen. A message to the perp: BRING IT BACK!

SecondLife Urban Tactics Squad is standing by to bring this criminal to justice.
Unless it's a Linden, FIC, or Asset Issue. Then we'll just give them a slap on the hand.

The sign says "decreded" instead of "decreed".
Perhaps the theft was a way of expressing displeasure at those who don't proofread text before converting it to textures.
You can probably pick up a replacement cube for a couple thousand from Jamie Bergman.

It's too late. I bet it's all chopped up and smushed into a bong right now. The aroma might still be lingering in the crackhouse though ... not that I know anything about this at all ... seriously.

I must admit that I took it.
But it was a political statement, and thus you can't do anything.

All jokes aside... the cube is still missing. It was a real cube. A Phil cube. It was Boardman's pride and joy. Now our only claim to fame will be occasional streaker event down the streets when Barnesworth decides to run around naked.

Seriously, how could they steal it? It had to be somebody in group. Why don't you post an IM to the group that owned that cube and ask people to check their inventories?

It was physical, Barnes put a case around it and we thought it would be safe. How wrong we were. And now we're boxless. i HAVE NO BOX.

From: Ingrid Ingersoll It was physical, Barnes put a case around it and we thought it would be safe. How wrong we were. And now we're boxless. Then it can't be inventoried by some stranger. It couldn't have gotten far. So you should get an object scanner (especially if you remember the name of the thing.) That will take you right to it. If the object was kicked off world, it will show up in the Lost and Found inventory of the owner. So you should ask them first.

Is the cube still missing? Agreed! It's hardly the time to point out spelling errors on a sign! There's a missing cube to locate!!
