If you wanted to go on a date with someone in SL, and wanted to have a fun and enjoyable time, where would you go?

It's even easier... you just arrange where and when in RL to meet, then to go to the RL sim, just hit the keyboard shortcut of CTRL-Q.

It's amazing really... there's surprisingly little lag (except in certain clubs where it's as bad as any other sim), and the resolution is amazing. They've done some things with prims and textures you wouldn't believe. Shame what they did to avatars though.

I'm not talking about using SL as a replacement for RL. Blah, stop derailing! :-P

Picnics at The Lost Gardens of Apollo are always a very romantic experience for Lina and I. It's generally low-lag, secluded andf the atmosphere and surroundings are just perfect to set the mood! :D

I take her into IM mode. I don't like people watching. I'm shy.

Ooooh or go to Teal, the Ethereal fireworks are fun to watch, and if you bring some dance balls, you can dance in the fireworks. BTW this only works at night in SL :)

Cool, I'll check out these places. If anyone else has suggestions, I'm still open for them.

SL Botanical Gardens are a fairly popular date spot.

The cornfield sounds like it might be quite romantic.

First, go find a blanket, picnic basket and a romantic hideaway like the others suggested.

Take her on a shopping spree, buy her some dancing shoes and a pretty dress.

Then have her help find an appropriate outfit for you.

Once "formalized" TP her to a nice park setting and rez the blanket (or picnic table) and sit and chat awhile. A bouquet of Roses from Fallingwater Cellardoor would be nice.

After some chatting whisk her off to Apollo Island to the dancing area (think it's a Salsa Gazebo, not sure) or a jazz club with a dance floor, a new place opened in Laothoe called Massot Mall, has a beautiful dance area on the Lake and plays nice jazz tunes, you can even watch for Nessie (that's right Nessie swims there).

After some dancing then the rest is up to you. Since a first date kiss may not be appropriAte have someone make you a Hershey Kiss with your name on the ribbon so it would be a kiss she never could forget :D

Good Luck and have fun, and most of all, be a Gentleman.

FUN? Just read that...

Get bathing suits and try to find all the waterslides in SL. hehehe

S'ok, I got an anonymous suggestion in a PM from someone that said to go to a pose ball place and have fun there for some good laughs, I might try that.

The Crackhouse aka Meth Lab in Boardman. There's a mattress there if you don't mind the syringes and dried urine.

Go t00bing. The place is in Tethys if I'm right ... been awhile. I might have to double check that.

Naked skydiving. But you need like 10 people to make this a hefty visual.

Go to a fancy pants sim, perch on one of the tallest buildings naked, and watch people. Then squawk once in awhile.

Go to a camping chair place with caveman clubs and whack the people over the head with them.

Get Starax's wand, TP to populated sandbox. Rez teddies. Observe.

Yes, these are all dates. :p
