I honestly thought it was owned by the Lindens! I remember going there as a newbie too.
Why, oh why, is there no scheme whereby the Lindens support things like this? It is so important a feature. Surely there should be a scheme where places of real altruistic value can apply to be sponsored (less tier fees). |

I think LL has probably learned from experience that any attempt to subsidize resident owned and run attractions will only result in cries of "FIC!" and Nyx would likely be accused of being an LL employee's love slave or something.  _____________________

I can, if need be......'for the cause' you understand And Elgyfu Chip is right, if LL decided to sponsor in whole, or in part, The Ivory Tower, despite how deserving, all we would hear would be the wailing and knashing of teeth So WE as a community can do our part _____________________
