Yeah it could be turned into something else or "gamed", but I doubt it would be anything to bad. And that is only if the data matters to anyone else. If the data is personal and not displayed for everyone then I could see it working well indeed.  |

I'd like stats info. any other marketing service would provide SOME info. one shouldn't have to bribe someone, enter a raffle, be in an irc chat with a linden or otherwise foster rumors of FIC in order to get something so basic. Heck my podunk weekly local paper can do it, surely LL can.

Now that I think about it, we pay an awful lot of asset cycle taxes to the dwell machine just so people can say woohoo look at me i got g4m3111
Why not devote an equal number of asset cycle taxes to an ad hit machine, as long as it includes a stat reflecting the number of people who pressed the teleport button, so we can all say woohoo look at me i got my money's worth.
I mean, what are we gonna waste all that processing on? streaming feeds? managing the bloated inventories of idiots who never delete anything? don't make me laugh.
