Chat color is 'Clear' |

I was having issues with my color settings reverting back to black everytime I logged out and now they are just appearing as clear textures. The color box looks the same way as if I made an object transparent and then put color to it. Anyone else having this problem?

a friend of mine in SL is having this problem right now but I see his chat fine. I am on a Mac and I think he is on a PC.

Fix from Data Linden
Delete settings.xml from C:\Documents and Settings\<USERNAME>\Application Data\SecondLife\user_settings directory and relog |

I tried that and it didnt seem to work. I'm going to try and reinstall and see if that fixes it.
