I just realized this is a bit worse than I thought immediately.

All vendors that use a system of llInstantMessage or llWhisper or llSay to inform a browser of prices are pretty much disabled due to this.

Also systems which use llInstantMessage to inform their owners of events or give instructions on use are disabled as well.

Basically anything that gives a system message is disabled.

Anyone got a work around?

I don't really see how the gun industry is decimated.

Make guns that do damage. Guns aren't supposed to throw people halfway across the world.

Guns are guns. Throwing people halfway across the world is...well...magic.

Delete settings.xml from C:\Documents and Settings\<USERNAME>\Application Data\SecondLife\user_settings directory and relog

It won't be decimated. See, the push restriction only keeps object belonging to someone else from working. The land ownder's push weapons will still work fine.

Imagine the fun that can be had with that! :D
