Update my arse, whats happened is SL is dangerously low on prims, and the Lindens are having to mine for prims.
When you get back online look for the tell tale signs, like linden pickaxes and shovels on your land.

They need to concentrate on actually getting rid of the lag before adding stuff for land owners etc i think the programs performance is more of a priority DAMMIT!
