TG Furries Rock out!!

Ive come to anounce that Teen Grid (a smaller verision of maingrid for teens) has started its own furry colony known as "Furry Plateau", unlike the maingrid, Furry Plateau has been centered around informing people of the furry lifestyle, rather then just having a cool avitar ^-^ Most people who wear a furry dont know what living the "Furry Lifestyle" (through SL and RL) is all about. Inorder to spread our knowlage on TG, we have made a teen village, in which furry residents discuss various furry experiences. Some vote that it is very much in the leauge of "Luskwood" or "FurNation"... Well, dont take my advice on it. Go to:

It's a little mistake that has happened a few times Reggie. It's not a big deal, but you do need to contact Linden Labs customer service or get ahold of Torley Linden (torley@lindenlab.com), to get your account back to the teen forums so you don't get accused of doing it on purpose and banned. the furry lifestyle and the gorean lifestyle have very little to do with each other.

the furry lifestyle is also not based on mature themes and i for one am glad it has found a place on the teen grid.

saddly people look at the majority to make an assumption about the whole, we are not all gay men who dress up in fur suits with SPH's!
no the furry lifestyle is as varied as the human one, we have furry christans, furry gamers, furry goreans even.

i myself am a furry martial artist, i have the spirit of the Cheetah and take great pride in it, i am involved with many other groups as well that i wont bother to note but simply put, we are not all sex crazed gay men, they just tend to be the loudest.

Beyond contacting a Linden to get moved to the TG, here are some tips :
1) Don't require people to register to post on your forum. It puts people off. Better yet, have a forum on the SL forum system so they don't have to register at all and can use 'new posts' to find it.
2) Avoid giving drama magnets positions of power, but do give responsibility to responsible persons interested.
3) Make sure to take your information from furry from at least one, preferably about 5, reputable sources. Information on what 'furry' is varies wildly.

Some other tips :
1) When building a furry community, avoid asking prey species to share parcels with predator species.
2) If you're going to hold meetings, don't hold them in winter.
3) You may wish to hold meetings outdoors. Otherwise, shedding may become a problem for your air conditioning or fan system.

But then we have to go all the way across the sim to get dinner! That's not fair to us lazy carnivores

I think FP is better then FN and Luskwood. Luskwood is all commercial and FN is all about Yiff.

FP sounds like it is just about hanging out and being furries together. No yiff... These kis are trying to break a steriotype. THey want everyone in TG to see that being a furry isen't all about Yiff and fursuits.
