Just a suggestion, that you might want to subscribe to feedburner to syndicate to podcast with a whole load of podcatchers.

My personal favourite being odeo which does a web based flash player that you can put in any webpage

Out of curiosity, how do you do a recording of a conversation using google talk? I've been dying to do one myself

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm personally very new to the whole pocasting scene myself, so I'll have to give those apps a look see. I'm always looking for ways to get our show heard by more people.

As for how we record our program, we use SAM3 to broadcast, and it has the option to save a broadcast to an audio file. SAM broadcasts ever sound my computer makes, which includes us talking on our mics and includes the voice that comes out over Google Talk. The reason why we chose Google Talk over other software (ie. Skype) is that most talk program grab ahold of your volume controls to auto-adjust so the call sounds good. This doesn't work for us as our system volume controls actually control what we're broadcasting. Google Talk does this as well, but to such a small degree that it doesn't hamper our ability to broadcast, call people, AND play music.

The last two broadcasts (which I'm still working on cleaning up

) were also more recording of our live show, and I'm hoping tonight to do a few more things that make the broadcast easier to listen to over a podcast.

Also, if for whatever reason you'd like us to call you during our show (8PM SLT - whenever (usually midnight) ), you need three things:

A headset
A GMail (or Googlemail for UKers) account
Google Talk software (http://talk.google.com)

Once you have all of those, add [email]nala.galatea@gmail.com[/email] to your friends list and let us know via IM that we should call you, and that's that

As always, this podcasting bit is us trying new things, and we're gonna be trying a lot more to really bring our show to a more professional level. If there are things you like or dislike, from either side please let us know!

(and yes, I'd love to include the whole show with music, but that would run us a very very very high licencing bill. We will keep any songs in the broadcast which we have permission to include so if you know some local or SL artists that would like their music on our show/podcast, have them send me an MP3 to the e-mail addy above and it will be on both the show and the podcast.

Aimee, I do believe I have copies of those shots on my HD, so ... MUUUahahahahaha!

So, most importantly, don't forget, tonight we get to "get" Torrid from 5 - 8 pm SL time before we're "done" by TriNala starting at 8 pm SL time until midnight or so!
