Alright, assuming this is -another- attack on the grid. Are youtelling me these losers ahve nothing better to do than to find ways to ruin peoples fun? Are their testicles that small and thier vaginas dry as the Saraha that they lack the GUTS to actually do something PRODUCTIVE?!?

And before the griefer-lovers jump on here and rant at me for not having a life by being on SL, guess what? My mate and I play here for fun TOGETHER! Sorta like going out to a bar, a club, a mall, to freaking Chucky Cheese's!!! Whatever you call fun. To sum it up in a word (though I'm sure four sylible words are out of your league), it's called SOCIALISING!!

We come here to chat with friends. Some beacuse it's easy and convieniant, others becasue maybe, just maybe, they can't go out. One of my frineds online is confined to a wheelchair and has no family. SL happens to be a way for her to meet friends and to have FUN!!

Not that you retards who do things like this -care-, but they say what goes around comes around, and I hope you get all you deserve in spades!

I don't think it's the testicles. It may be the size of the penis that is the problem, but I doubt it. See, when something is never used, and trust me, these types NEVER use their penises for anything other than peeing and making a mess of their desks, size isn't an issue. Well someone else has been having fun, and now SL is no longer fun for me, twice in under 48 hours this is silly........ I could understand server failure, but script kiddies in SL, reminds me of my early days on IRC when I was still using AOl to log in. and I remember why I got rid of AOl, do not want to have to get rid of SL for the same reasons

After Second life has been up as long as it has you mean to tell me a million dollar company can't keep this from happening? What really bothers me is that this game was made as a way to have your own business doing something you like. BUT, question is how long will it really be here. They can't keep this kind of thing from happening.

Maybe we that buy sims and spend ALL that money on tiers are just getting riped off in the end.

I never had a probelem with updates all that, made the system well sometimes better but all this every week?

As crappy as The Sims Online and other games are there up! I played others and NEVER had these kinds of problems.

I just feel what a waste of time we put into makeing these guys rich when it is never ending problems. Maybe SL should look to hire the people attacking the Grid then they might have a way to stop it since they can't seem to do it on there own.

Maybe its more to do with the fack that the trouble makes have no life or social base for it, nore the brain power to do something construcive with there time im shure with such a art for scriping they could make good business in world makeing wepons and other things for the people in sl to play with. this so called crash has messed with my sl wedding not that this is a big problem as an online game time is of no importance but bye flapping ur arms around u only play to there wims. These so called hackers are probable littel kids spotty and gressy in there room a lone with no friends and belive bye being an ass makes them cool i have one thing to say to such a preson GET A GOD DAM LIFE

You give them too much credit for scripting ability. I am very much a novice scriptor but I suspect I could write one of these things in under an hour. (WOuldn't bother I have to many other constructive scripting projects)

They it do because of posts like this. The bully punches the kid on the playground to see him cry. The same reason greifers attack the grid. They know that in the span of a nano second that a great wailing of gnashing of teeth will start in the forums. That once again someone has broken Second Life. A disscusion that often last for days. From "I can't get in"
to "let's hang the bastard" Griefing has become the fastest way to gain 15 minutes of fame in SL. Stop giving this to them.

Roxies easy guideline to Grid Attack/ Failure

1. If you see the grid attack and believe you may be the first one to see. Notify the
Lindens. If you look up and see your sim one of the last one still standing. Odds are
. already know. Close up your work and prepare for the end

2. Check the Annoucements in the forums to see if the Lindens have issued a statement.

3. Do not bitch and whine in the forums about the grid attack.

4. Check the weather. If it's nice take a walk. I am sure your long suffering pooch who
sits by the computer desk and feels left out of your life. Will be happy to join you.

5. If weather is bad or you don't have a dog. A book may be in order or if you just can
not pry the keyboard from your fingers. Down load a copy of gimp or blow the dust
of Photoshop and try making a few textures.

6. Check the forums. There is always some well meaning citizen of Second Life who has
been checking the gird every 30 seconds or so for the past few hours to make sure
he/she is the first to know of it's return and will tell the whole world.

7. If grid is still down. Return to step 5. By no means post bitchy essays in the
forums about the grid failure. This only fuels the griefer engine. If you really feel a
need to vent about the grid situtation and griefers in general. The dog sitting by your
desk will be happy to listen. When he gets sick of hearing it. He and the cat will run
away from home and join the circus.

I hope this simple guide Will help you during the next attack. Best usage print out and tape the guide some place with in easy viewing from your computer.
