From: Jake Reitveld Anyone who disagrees witrh about this is wrong. Anyone who agrees with me is brilliant. Its all beautiful here in my world, my imagination. We are the brilliant, beautiful people Jakie...and even if we are declared bad lawyers because of our references to pop culture and usage of slang, well, we are living the good life...VERY GOOD life...so we must be doing something right!

From: Jake Reitveld And no my support of rthe SG's and the fact that I resort to vocabulary words like fooking, and the fact that I cannot type, or be bothered to spell check a forum post has nothing to do with my abilites as a lawyer.
From: katykiwi Moonflower Are you sure?I mean a mental heavy weight recently declared that I must be a bad lawyer because I incorporated retro cultural linguistics in a post I made, "splain it to me" a la Ricky Ricardo.
Oh go the fuck ahead and name my name for crying out loud. I was spot on in my infamous post which is quite clear to me now. I indian-give my apology. Shriek on.

Oh for cryin out loud. Can we just have one day of "peace" and quit picking at old scabs already? Sheesh. Time heals all wounds or some such, so why keep bringing stuff up that has no bearing on ANYTHING except someone might have been insulted by some other poster on a different damn thread?

That's not what you said the other day in the other thread in the other forum. Or was that your other account?

I think we should be able to "opt-in" to allow people to name our names. I'd be so in...

Lecktor, I don't think you have ever taken me to task on my spelling. I was just putting in my general disclaimer.
And well maybe some people think this thread is lame-they are welcome to. I still don't care. Its my thread and it says welcome to the suicide girls. Which is my position on the issue.
Obviously I know a thread about the suicide girsl is beating a dead horse. I don't care-I wanted to do it, it doesn't violate the TOS, and if it bores you, read something else. If you agree, well you know how brilliant and wonderful you are, and if you disagree, well then you know you are wrong. Life is simple in my world. hehehe
And If you have never seen pornography, how do you know the suicide girls are pornography?

Worst crime of the century." Av PosterB "Buzz off. I did it because she was doing Z to me and so X was warranted!" Av PosterA "Not talking about you" Av PosterB "Oops. Never mind that previous post then...nothing to see here."

From: someone You do not speak for the entire community with that statement. I know I joined this thread late, but are you retarded or something? I don't mean that as an insult. I am generally curious if perhaps you have a disability. Oops, I mean, I was curious if you were differently abled. In the head. Well, you know what I mean. Where I come from we called it "touched". I am not sure the politically correct term today. When people say things like "I'm" and "I" it is generally assumed they are speaking for themselves. Let me give you example: "When I look at sexy pictures of Jesus Christ with his taut abdominals exposed I have an uncontrollable urge to touch myself in the naughty place."See how that works. While a lot of people want to touch me in my naughty place, (and when I say a lot, we are way into triple digits here) this particular sentence wasn't speaking for those people. It was only a scenario that I can truly validate for myself. It isn't really necessary to chime in they aren't speaking for everyone. Unless of course there is someone who is named "I" or "I'm" which would cause some confusion on the issue. However, if you do have the name I or I'm, you should probably be used to this sort of scenario by now. Unless of course you were terrifyingly dragged away from your family at a young age by dingoes in the Australian outback and then rescued and raised by Kangaroos. I could see in that situation how you might not have been exposed to the general grammar rules used in this forum. If that happened to you, I offer you my sympathy, unless sympathy offends you. I know you don't need my sympathy because you are independent and proud of it! I would be interested in hearing stories about living with the kangaroos though. Did you ever get to ride in the pouch?

From: Cocoanut Cookie Ah, put a sock in it, Eboni. Just because I don't like being cursed out - or seing others cursed out - hardly makes me a "den mother."
It means I don't being cussed out. Guess what. That's not unusual. Most of the world is like that.
In fact, there's a rule against it for this message boards.
The fact that the rule isn't enforced at all - depending on who you are - pisses me off enormously, and that doesn't make me a den mother either.
This is a forum where people are routinely told to go f**k themselves, called turds, told to shove it up their rectum - or any number of other anti-social, hostile, base, R-rated, fight-provoking, bullying comments - and nothing happens.
Despite the rule against personal attacks.
As long as people with scatalogical fixations and no impulse control are allowed to rule the forums, many people will do the sensible thing - and just leave.
And I say - good for them. The Lindens don't deserve them.
All you are doing, Eboni, is telling me I don't get to be offended by being cursed out. And I don't get to want a forums where that doesn't happen. And I don't get to want the rules are applied to everyone, not just the people the Lindens don't like.
And I don't get to hate a situation where some people can say whatever they like, where others receive warnings and suspensions for far less.
I do hate it.
So get off your high-horse.
coco See Cocoanut, why did you have to write this big long thing to tell me I was wrong when I am actually starting to see things from your point of view. I don't always agree with what you want stopped but I can see the necessity for people to control themselves. Lewis is hateful with plan his to try and moralize the forums and at least you have tried to be polite. I support you in your efforts to clean up this cesspool. Was Siggy's image he posted above necessary? No. And it wasn't even funny which is sad because he used to be funny, now is like the New Pimp Snoop Dogg compared to the old cool Snoop Dogg, just a cartoon character of himself. The moderation is just as sloppy and half assed and uneven as ever.

Even though the forum community had repeatedly been asked to not harrass another group of Residents, many threads were started targeting one group of Residents. This thread has been closed and will remain so.
