I'd like to add some variety, so tropical, Asian, African etc builds specific to one location would be coolest.
So... got a sim that fits the bill, or know of one? Please post and let me know

Cheers,
Sabrina

I'm writing an article on virtual tourism, ie very realistic builds of specific tourist or vacation destinations. Examples on my list include Dublin, Amsterdam and the Deco beach front (in North Beach, isn't it?) but I'm looking for more suggestions.

Wailele Isle and Nohona Isle are based on the island resorts typical in Tahiti and French Polynesia.

I can't remember the name of it but Anshe's got several sims done out in an 'arabian desert' style which I found quite impressive when I was invited over to have a look a few months back.

Lewis I think you mean the A'ksha sims. There is a realistic build of a block of Portland OR's 21st ave in Bonga, 188, 54. |

Futureperfect, with the walkway around the top of the waterfalls is stunning but you need a head for heights! Very Tropical.

Dublin, if it still exists, was an awesome reproduction of downtown Dublin, Ireland. I would definitely check it out.

Dublin exists, flurishes and grows more popular daily, and it always will And I am a dolt in that I forgot Dublin was mention in the original post. Doh! Now the OP wanted realistic. Do sims that do not reflect a true real-life place count? MM _____________________

There's a pretty Excellent Mont St. Michel build which you can find using find places. There's also a Rome build and, I think, some kind of New Zealand tourist center.
The Rainforest is a beautiful Mayan temple/jungle recreation. _____________________

Mahoroba in Shepherd... not a full-blown sim, but a lovely, tiny rendition of Japanese shopping district nonetheless <3

Wow fantastic, thanks for the suggestions!
Just to clarify, I am looking for reproduction sims, for lack of a better term, ala Dublin and New Orleans ![]() _____________________

Not sure if this fits but Pyro Island is built as a New England Coastal town. we've even built replica buildings of the Old North church in boston MA and the Lexington Meeting hall from Lexington MA. I just wanted something that felt like home and i'm from New England so um.. yeah it seemed to fit lol.
