When will they be closed? I don't know. General, Sandbox, and Land and Economy seem as trolled up as usual. The few other ones I visit seem pretty good though. As much as I dislike much of what goes on in General and Land and Economy (I don't even touch the Sandbox), I'd miss the content creation forums and classifieds. I'd suggest shutting down the various problem forums, but I suspect the nonsense on them would just migrate over to the previously decent forums.

I don't think it's time to put the SL forum horse down yet but I do believe it's inevitable. When such a day arrives we should celebrate it as a mark of SL's maturity (as in growth) not as a loss of immaturity (as in death of the forum trolls). |
