99% of the places i went to (stores) still uses object set to light -.- we have the option now and please use "full bright instead" it doesnt cast light and glow for miles away.

yes im a local light user (mostly NEVER on mainlaind cause of this) and its major kill near those stores wich still uses "light", i been to some that actually changed to full bright, big ones and they didnt kill me that bad..

But then again LL went bad in 1.7 'ish and above, now it does really odd things , flashing , lightning effect (flicker), square light.

I own land in a lot of mainland sims and have no trouble at all but I have shiny, shadows and local lighting turned off because I don't want my SL to look like Saturday Night Fever.

What's wrong with my club?

To a first approximation, yes, it sucks for everyone and has been getting progressively worse.

To add finer grained detail, it sucks for most, most of the time, most places on the grid. There are exceptions that show absolutely no rhyme or reason: some clients work fine all the time, some work fine some of the time, some work lousy some of the time and sucky other times.

Time passes, things change. It's actually gotten worse since this post.

Now I am getting, nothing at all being rendered, then white textures, then the loading textures, then, if I haven't left the area by that time, the correct texture. Which might be the blurred version.

Tonight I am getting a "zoom in, avatars display normally, zoom out, they turn gray" effect I have never seen before.

My main place of residence (shop, god I need a house) is on the mainland, recently it has become harder to rez anything there, and a nightmare to upload textures.

Im thinking about moving it to an Island, but I need somewhere that will allow me to build the shop as well. (No malls!)

I recommend you write your congressperson or other governmental body. It will have the same net effect.
