From: Ulrika Zugzwang Instead of working alone, you should work with your party to create a platform on which to run for the upcoming elections. Make sure you poll your constituents to see if they're behind the plan. If you're acting alone as a citizen, make sure your party receives this information for review and possible inclusion in their platform in time for the elections.~Ulrika~ I'm taking this step as designee Gildemeister. The proposal will be presented to the RA for budgetary approval, and for whatever approvals of substance the RA must pass upon. My intention is that the proposal will be seen to have pros and cons from the perspective of any of the factions, so that, while I present it on the basis of its technical merits, the various competing perspectives can within the process of the RA come to a conclusion for action. It will be my role, then, to carry out that conclusion with the other Guild members of the City. I've had some preliminary discussion on the nuts and bolts of this concept with the soon-to-be Gildemeister Emeritus Kendra Bancroft. I will present the proposal here in the forum for those meisters, other Guild members, and any other citizens to comment upon and to offer suggestions for improvement, before presenting it to the RA. Because filling the office of Gildemeister precludes my running for office in the RA, I'm developing this material independently of the faction's platform, so as not to unfairly commit the MPP to this plan. I feel that any member of the MPP should be free to come to conclusions independent of the fact that a Gildemeister who happened to be MPP herself proposed them. Sudane

From: Sudane Erato I'm taking this step as designee Gildemeister. Members of the Guild do not have the power to put forward bills to the RA for vote. Bills must be drafted and then adopted by factions which sponsor them for vote in RA sessions. This ensures that the constituency is having their needs met (as opposed to a single powerful person). From: someone Because filling the office of Gildemeister precludes my running for office in the RA, I'm developing this material independently of the faction's platform, so as not to unfairly commit the MPP to this plan. I feel that any member of the MPP should be free to come to conclusions independent of the fact that a Gildemeister who happened to be MPP herself proposed them. This is highly unusual that you're abandoning the MPP and leaving it without a platform, in order to do an end run around the RA to promote one person's agenda. This does not bode well for the MPP (or your agenda). I would recommend working in the system, providing your platform to the MPP, and saving me as a member of the SC hours of deliberation on AC versus RA powers. ~Ulrika~
