I still have several parcels available.... A few of these are crucial to maintaining the new air docks as they go up.

These lots feature:

Great ocean and mountain views!
Prime locations near the air station and all the ships!
Smaller size lots! Easy to afford, and you are welcome to build on them. Build a radar station, or a windmill, or maybe just a nice seaside villa!

As before the prices are as follows:
Free (1$) for any group member who had donated land or money to the project prior to this week.
Half price for any Kazenojin looking to live here.

New: Additional discounts for members looking to build something that clearly fits the theme of airships and flight!

So, stop by Ana's Real Estate in Gray, office hours 6 to 11 pm (PST) all this week.

Cool, I'll stop by when I'm inworld. While I'm not part of your group, I've had a project in mind for a while that specifically fits Kazenojin, and I'd love to be able to put it up near the new air station. :)

I'm going to take down the Helios within a week. It's been a lot of fun, but I don't believe I can finish it the way things are. Even now, at 50% completion, I'm net-income-negative. I can't realistically complete it and detail it the way I want to without being perpetually in debt.

Aircraft Show! Kaz Meeting!

Tonight at 7 pm (PST) there's an aircraft show, so bring your creations out and let's dazzle everyone.

Plus after the contest, stick around, and let's do some brainstorming on the design for the new station.

Huns,

I'm sorry to see your Helios go, it is a craft of truly prodigious proportions, and measured up to the scale of our ambitions. I hope we'll still see you around, here at the scripter's paradise. I did find a parcel of land with a nice cliffside view, if you're interested. What with the marina and the peaceful landscaped bay, I think you might like it. I love the platform you set up over in Rose.

Going once, going twice....

Two announcements:

Tonight is the last night group members can get land for free or discounted rates in Gray. There are still several parcels left, but we have secured the essentials! wOOt! Please see me right away tonight if you are interested in having cheap land in the theme community.

Second, we should have the main docking ring of the new station up and operational tonight or tomorrow, so bring those ships back out out for display. There are two areas now in Gray appropriate for the display of aircraft and other flying vessels. The first is the docks. To put a ship up here, make a copy of the dock arm and place it in radial fashion on the ring, similar to how the old docks worked. You will need to maintain the upkeep on the dock arm, but feel free to modify it as you like. Each dock arm is designed to allow parking two or three ships, depending on their size. New to Gray is the Airfield, which is home to more traditional types of aircraft. Along the runway is the place to set up your own tarmac or hangar. Please see me or Athos Murphy regarding this, He has crafted a wonderful hangar design and I'm sure he'd be more than willing to help you set up your own.

The air dock is coming along nicely; so is the store. Members might contribute if they have good ideas for things like:

-- lighting: on the docks, and at the ground (better than my globe on a stick, at least ...)
-- signage: some consistent look for graphics, font, etc., and some signs ("Do Not Climb On Or Around", "Welcome to Kazenojin Station", "20 Minutes Parking Only" or whatever)
-- other "street furniture" for the station, around the base of the station, and near the store. Benches, landscaping, paving, etc.

Build and plant it yourself, or send the idea to Admiral Ananda ...
