sculpts + quad/vertex duality question w/ blender

i've been exporting 256x256 sculpt maps from blender and I think they look better.


That's because it will be less distorted by JPEG compression. Once LL agrees to use lossless compression for lower sized textures you actually might start to see worse results once you go to a size that is being compressed in a lossy way.
