I need to do some research for my upcoming landscape project. What do people think as being the best waterfalls in SL? Best waterfall designers?

Thanks!!

(If possible, please let me know the sim where the waterfall is

I dunno if its one of the best, but take a look at the waterfall/river in Eucalyptus Grove (see link in my sig). The waterfall flows from the top of the hill down into the woods and out the other side.

Also built a little new one just the other day in Erie... but I don't have a link to it (plot is named "><> Erie Wetlands"

, and our neighbor there has a nice waterfall as well.

The big waterfall on the east edge of Mimas is nice too... its a Linden waterfall, I think.

Waterfalls are one of my favorite thingsto make.

Go check out the granddaddy of all waterfalls, the one Jake Cellardoor made waaaayy back in Beta. You can find it in Clementina.

I made some waterfalls for my castle in Stillman and have recieved quite a few compliments. You might want to check it out. Castle Blackmoor - I don't have the coordinates, but it's in the northwest corner of Stillman - you can't miss it.

Niel Protagonist makes some awsome waterfalls

You can find them somewhere near the Pixel Dolls Store in Chartruese (however you spell it)

Some of my faves have been listed.

The Quiet Spot from Beneficia is now gone

but it definitely had some VERY beautiful waterfalls, some of my favorites in SL -- Ariel and I both enjoyed going there. I have no doubt tho that Clio and Donovan Lumiere could make some more if they had to!

Thanks for the mention, Pituca.

I also did the waterfall at the north edge of Oak Grove, now owned by the Lindens. (It's a smallish one, given the desert surroundings.) And I did the one on Annie Butler's mountainside in Stanford, next to the custom house that Juro built for her.

There is a beautiful water fall in Mauve. Absolutely wonderful! There's also the awesome Linden-made falls in Tethys or a sim on that line, as well as the ones between Oak Grove and Morris.

Davos, the Ice Palace, freezing mountain falls and steaming water pools
Orelle, Silk waters Mountain winter falls

I think my neighbor, Margot Abattoir, makes some nice waterfalls. She also just changed her shop for the ten-thousandth time. I still think the brick studio was the best incarnation.

First I have to "thank" Kendra Bancroft for her comment here concerning my waterfalls!
Secondly...I do "not" claim to be the best at building waterfalls in SL, only that I "enjoy" the effort and creativity! I have many falls scattered about...If you care to look, that I have built for the following people:

Krista Jensen

Myself {near "Casa Del Sol" in Ritch; and also the big island in Hachiman}

The big "falls" in Albion {once known as "Gunnar Falls"}; contact: Ceres Prototype

Siggy Romulus and Lynn Lippmann built a beautiful waterfall in Mavericks that still remains on my land - it remains my favorite waterfall in SL - you can find it by searching for Midnight Beach in Find.

There's an incredible waterfall in Sanctum as well. I don't know for sure that Baron Grayson built it, but I assume he did.

Toy Folette makes some good waterfalls (and other water items) she even holds a class on building them that has some great tips and tricks for working with water.

One name which I would like to very much mention -- and not just 'cuz she's so nice and a fast typer to boot -- is:

FALLINGWATER CELLARDOOR

Apt name, eh?

She's created some real beauts. Her love EDDIE ESCHER (where has he gone from the Forums, oh my?) has made some real cool structures to go along with them.

Wonderful builds, wonderful team.
