Snap To Grid at 0.125
Now if only the Snap To Grid function worked on control-shift-handle-draging to resize, I'd never have to mess with the numbers at all...

I normally build by everything by the numbers, but I will have to say that when I make jewerly. Numbers are good, but have to visually make sure that every prim lines up. For example, making a prim chain out of .01 spheres that are hollow with a begin cut of 65 and end cut of 33. The numbers do not work at all, because if you rotate it, it will rotate on center of the sphere not the ring (link). Hence, I align all the prims by sight, (zoomed in as far as I can zoom in). They both are good ways to build, but he chose is up the person building the object. Whice ever works best for him/her.

I actually use both to do buildings. I usually eyeball things until I get to a point where I have just a small gap, then I use numbers to make the percision editing. It works well enough that it looks good, like I actually tried, without doing all the funky math stuff.

when i build big it's by the numbers all the way. when i build small like palm of your hand size i build by eye but i can zoom way way way way in so close that i can avoid gaps even by eye and get more precise even than by the numbers allows.
i bet the weird sizes of Linden stuff is because they've been resized.
