Textures are getting corrupted!!!

the oddity of seeing it on selected other textures (and THAT sort of a rainbow) has me thinking somewher close to ospreys configuration problem, coupled with a possible overheating of the vid card (seriously you'd be amazed how hot those buggers get without noticing)

Sorry if i missed this noted above, but what viewer are those tht see it rainbow like using?
I am on the new GreenLife Emerald and until i did a clear cache, i had that happening to random textures. Both mine and other peoples. Clearing did correct the problem.

Alpha Texture is Fried on Many items

Has anyone experience corruption of textures inworld? I have had some of my textures come up displayed very badly.


Me too ... sort of. A transparant alpha texture that a supplier used extensively on plants suddenly turned grey and won't rez. It is called Tu Transparancy. This all started this past weekend and isn't fixing itself. Some people see it properly and some see it grey. It was used a lot on my sim.

I have cleared cache, uninstalled and reinstalled the RC and regular viewer to no avail ... I have a GT9800GT Nvidia and installed the latest driver release and nothing helped

I would welcome any ideas ...
