My goal here is to get a group going that will *regularly* meet and hang out at the disco (presently located near the SW corner of Blue), brainstorm for new ideas, collaboratively build, texture and script new decorations, plan and hold events, you name it.
Please note that I am not "hiring". If you want a "job" you're the wrong person.
I tend to richly reward those who help me out as I do not care about money and I have plenty of it but I hate greedy people to insane extremes. So if your primary motivation is money you should look somewhere else for it.

I suggest you contact Kenzington Fairlight and Lordfly Digeridoo. They're both making music IRL, both have websites with songs up and Lordfly even has two of his songs available for sale in SL (in Slate, at his House).

I'd like to help. The first thing I think we could do is to update the map with the correct location of the disco. I spent over an hour wandering around Da Boom last night looking for the disco. I thought I had found it, but it turned out I just found a strip joint.

Oh yes! I've been looking for a good job-offer. I was recruited to be a dancer in a nightclub, but I think I like the idea of working at a disco better!

The disco has been gone for at least a month or so. I took it down when americana ended. I was gonna rebuild it but now that our land ownership will be capped I dont think I can get a place for it.
I dont know why this is in the hot threads, its been there for ages but unless someone wants to donate land for the disco I will be focusing on Omega Games instead. If anyone's interested in reviving (and leading) this project let me know and I'll hand them the mixmaster and stuff. |
