When I have trouble posting here I clear the browser cache and delete cookies, and for some of the various problems we have posting here, it works.

Not all the time.

I've been having "can't find the page" errors at work and at home lately, which is different ISPs and different browsers, on a variety of different sites, like the whole internet has gone bad.

proposed function:
llRebakeForum( integer forumID, integer postID )
forumID is an integer representing the forum (example, 54 is scripting tips)
postID is the thread/post number (this thread is 298687)
one or the other should be set to false (0), and the other must reference a valid forum or post number or it refreshes the current page. if both are false the internet crashes.

now the real question is where do you run the function from?

late thought, the lack of posting ability may have been content related... the sequence dot dot fowardSlash contained in a post will redirect the page, resulting in Not Found errors. other sequences may produce similar errors. it's a reported issue.

Hmm, I wonder if my text included that ... thanks!

It could have been content-related, since each time I pasted the contents in, it failed. But after I'd lost my clipboard and had to retype the message, it worked.

I've run into that before too. Ironic, given that they have had even BBCode disabled for years now. :rolleyes:

Very, very cool! Well no not really but it is still pretty interesting. Two simple common words: from & select are one pair of triggers. Reverse the order and put sel*ct in a post and then anywhere latter in the same post use the word fr*m and you get the forbidden message. It even borks if you try putting it inside quote tags.
