A number that is common to each subject of comparison, would be.

Numbers that are not common to each subject of comparison, because each subject has a different value, would not be. :D

No matter which way you slice this cake, the number of prims and the number of dollars are on a par with each other for the purposes of comparing homesteads and mainland.

With the first price increase it helped them. They lost 12% of their sims on that deal, but increased the price by 21%:

So: 100 sims at $75 = $7500 pre price increase.

Now: 88 sims at $95 = $8360 after price increase, leaving a net gain of 11% with less to support and less hardware to use.

The next price increase was going to be 24%, but they/we are guessing that 40% on the low side would abandoned, I planned on losing 75% of ours.

So: 100 sims at $95 = $9500 pre price increase

New price in July: 60 sims at $125 = $7500 after price increase, leaving a net income LOSS of 22%

This is a decision based on the fact they will take a huge hit to thier income, not "we are going y'all a favor because we are doing well and the economy is bad". Basic math.

I'm still glad I got rid of mine when this whole mess started. NO I will not be jumping on the chance to own a homestead again, so you (LL) can bone me next year same time, or sooner as has often been the case.
