I just looked at the map where this complex of new water sims are going and counted 100+ similar sims that surround the Island of Nautilus. There are more mainland sims with direct connection to this water than the 130+ USS sims that some people are complaining about. The Blake Sea is just adding 40 more sims to an already extensive complex of open water LL sims and making navigation easier. As I see it that benefits everybody involved not just the sailing Yacht clubs who seem to be fighting over their calenders. There is much more to do in SL than sail boats and the sailing yacht clubs are not as important as some seem to think. We all benefit with all kind of vehicles and even swimming under the water. For those who can't swim we can always walk as I can hold my breath for hours in SL.

Shocking but not really surprising...

The timing couldn't be better. SL "economy" is in the mess, people abandon app. 15 sims a day and Lab announces "sailing b*****t."
But it does not really matter. The whole show will be over by spring anyway.
