My friends list shows slowly people getting in. From 1 online to 9 online in a 7 minute time span.

Am not counting on it but it 'looks' as if things are getting back to normal slowly.

Am I the only one that logged in at home???

I logged out as dragon yesterday at my homesim, logged in with no problems with attachments. Changed back to my human avatar with no problems either.

Could be luck that I ended up here with nobody else around

I'm gonna have ham sliced thin off bone, free range eggs and small "slider" buns for lunch. All done on the grill. Then for supper it's to be scallops on kebob skewers and "shrimp piri piri". Its mizzling on East Coast North America but I'll cook for my Mum who's coming to supper.

Are we talking food since we can't log in?

I made vanilla scented challah french toast for breakfast, with Vermont maple syrup and sliced strawberries which are grown on my deck. The challah came from the Greenmarket in NYC, stopped in yesterday on my way home from work. Served it with a side of pan fried pork link sausages and big mugs of coffee with cream.

Haven't decided about dinner yet. Plan is to go out to dinner, it's a a minor relationship celebration day for us, but it's raining terribly here and we're not inclined to do much. So, might just rent a movie on the TV and whip up some shrimp scampi if we decide to be lazy and stay in :)

I got in...

but apparently Fatpaws is unavailable, so I was shunted to "a nearby location" - a hub in Zindra. That's a different CONTINENT altogether, fergoodnessake!

So, is it an evil plot to drive tourists to Zindra... or are the mainland infohubs so full of other displaced residents that anyone with a verified account and adult checked off is being shuffled there?

Guess I'll have to go try that First Life platform for a while...

Ok did i somehow fall into a time protal and its 2006 or 2007 again or are these lin-dims still dim wits and still haven't figured out how to make a stable platform??? Oh wait their working on another useless addition before they fianally address a real issue.... how dim of me.

I have just tried to log in and I'm still unable to access secondlife! I checked out the latest update and it mentions that logging in has been resolved although there are still loads of regions that are inaccessible. Well, I'm not getting in! Is anyone else still unable to log in? Andrew

if you try logging in to a particular sim, such as Katla, you should be able to get in.

listen to me. unable to connect to simulator just means the sim you are trying to access is unavailable.

try getting in on a specific sim. after 15 minutes of unsuccessful retries of my last location, i finally typed in a name and got in on the katla sim.

What happened to "nearest good region" login routing?
