Had TP's fail at least 8 times before I could get to any other destination, and then back to my home sim. Then the ground was tinted dark green. Tried logging off and on logging back in it said logins wree temporarily disabled.

Same problem here. I find it interesting the message says Logins are temporarily disabled, please check the Grid Status Page at http://status.secondlifegrid.net/ and yet the Grid Status Page says everything is Hunky Dory

No, it isn't just you. Things got really "borky" and I couldn't do anything, so I logged out. Now I can't log back on. Just as well I guess, if everything is busted anyway.

The new LL policy about grid issues seems to be "Don't Mention it". You have to come to the Resident Answers thread to see someone whining about the same thing your whining about to get any verification at all.
I, too am locked out for the moment. I know they had mentioned that SL Voice would be down today. And I do hope this is fixed. It keeps triggering my sound card whenever it wants. I had to finally turn it off in properties to make sure I was not broadcasting. . _____________________

Same here, couldnt' TP so restarted and couldn't log back in.
But somehow dont' we all just gradually get used to this cycle. Well what the heck, now i'm just gonna get to bed, my eyes are starting to lose its focusing ability anyways. |

I only had an hour to go on SL today...and I can't log on! Grrrrr! Would be nice if they mentioned this problem on gridstatus page so we know what's going on. Guess I'll just keep trying.
** Oh! Looks like they finally mentioned it on the gridstatus page! Hopefully issue will be resolved soon. |

I'm having the same problem. The status page has just been updated:
[10:49] Logins have been disabled while we investigate a database issue affecting a number of inworld services. Inworld Search, Teleports, and the main Map are not functional. Please avoid making transactions and purchases, including XStreetSL purchases, until the issue is resolved. |
