I'm wondering what is the line concerning offensive material displayed on clothing.

Ive made a shirt, which i know is extremely offensive, but i like to do things like that.
Do we have a freedom of speech expectancy in sl? The shirt i made is borrowed from a real company that makes offensive shirts, but i guess i just have that kind of sense of humor.

anyway what is the line? Its just words afterall..words on a ficticious shirt.

Too many easily offended indiviuals in sl. They preach tolerance but are the first to rat out whatever they don't think appropiate -which is just about anything and everything.

No one can offend, insult or demean you without your allowing them to do so.

QFT! Outside of certain subjects that can and probably WILL get you pinched hard, there's no personal guarantee that ones skin thickness wont be tested by others, sometimes even hourly

QFT.. again! Those reactions IMO are habitual choices, and usually the result of people not pausing long enough to ask "how much does it really matter?", and also "how much will it matter a week from now?"... assuming it's borderline offensive material we're talking about, and not something really worth one of those reactions.

As for the OP.. I have a lot of shirts I made from sayings I got off the web. Most of them are the regular type perverted ones. A few of them are more 'in yer face' and I wont really wear them in a PG area, but they're not anything that would illicit an "OMG how could you?!?!" reaction. Just stay away from the main discriminatory ones like race, religion, sexual orientation, etc.. and it should probably be fine.

All I gotta say is go try some of these other MMO's, Free-to-Play or Pay-to-Play, and see how much is censored out. Then come back to SL and be thankful.

But what about the public nudity that goes on? Little pieces of silk covering nothing and guys going around with "attachments" hanging out are just as bad as anything a t-shirt may say. Personally i think each to his own is a good idea, as someone else said if u dont like it u dont have to look at it.
