If you're going to invite the Banananana Splits you need to invite their neighbors; H.R. Puffinstuff, Jimmy and his magical flute, and Witchipoo!

um...who sorry? I'm gonna have to google them.

I must be very very old, because I know exactly who he's talking about! :D

I'm Not very old, But i have the Theatrical release movie on DVD.

Sid and Marty Kroft Dominated the Saturday Morning live action Kids show market all through the 70's, H.R Pufnstuf was just one of many,There was Lidsville, and The bugaloos, and later, Sigmund and the Seamonsters,,

Come to think of it, They should go on the List too.

Angel.

I remember when I was a kid in Pennsylvania. The senior high school girl across the street came over and told me I had to watch the new Howard Cosell Variety show that Night. He was featuring a new band that was going to be the next Beatles.

Well, the Beatles they aint, but their damn good fun. Thanks for taking me back.

Well, the clip I picked didn't show it, but they DID have their own Sid and Marty Krofft show. But I couldn't help it... I love the 'Saturday Night' song, so I had to go with that one. :D

(Sorry about that Perre! This California lass obviously has no taste. But I assure you I love a good pipes and drums band, so hopefully that makes up for it. :) )

ETA: Howard Cosell Variety show?! Man, the seventies were a weird time in television! You know what Bradley? I see your Howard Cosell Variety show, and raise you a Shields and Yarnell!

Omg, I remembered the names but not who they were until I Googled their picture. She was that Liza Minelli wannabe. I forgot about Shields and Yarnell.

Btw, I looked up the Howard Cosell show. Apparently my memory is shot and that's not what it was called. It was a variety show on ABC called Saturday Night Live. It didn't do very well and lasted only a few weeks. Soon afterwards a show on NBC came on with the same name. I hear it lasted a tad longer though.

dam you Ava & Bradley!!! >_<!!

Muskrat, muskrat candlelight
Doin the town and doin it right
In the evenin
Its pretty pleasin

Muskrat susie, muskrat sam
Do the jitterbug out in muskrat land
And they shimmy
And sammys so skinny

And they whirled and they twirled and they tangoed
Singin and jingin the jango
Floatin like the heavens above
It looks like muskrat love

Nibbling on bacon, chewin on cheese
Sammy says to susie honey, would you please be my missus?
And she say yes
With her kisses

And now hes ticklin her fancy
Rubbin her toes
Muzzle to muzzle, now anything goes
As they wriggle, and sue starts to giggle

And they whirled and they twirled and they tangoed
Singin and jingin the jango
Floatin like the heavens above
It looks like muskrat love

La da da da da ...

Bagpuss, dear Bagpuss, old fat furry catpuss, wake up and look at this thing that I bring, wake up, be bright, be golden and light, Bagpuss oh hear what I sing...

I adore the song the mice sing :)
We will find it
We will bind it
We will stick it with glue glue glue
We will stickle it
Every little bit of it
We will fix it like new new new...
I have it running through my head now over and over lol.
:D so cute.

"Odds bodkins Master Meeker"

Morning all!

Rentaghost was so cool!
"We aim to shock, we hope your knees will knock..."
I loved it!

---------------

"Somewhere in the dark and nasty regions where nobody
goes stands an ancient castle. Deep within this dank and
uninviting place lives Berk, overworked servant to The Thing
upstairs. But that's nothing compared to the horrors that
lurk beneath The Trapdoor, for there is always something
down there in the dark, waiting to come out..."

"Oh Globbits" :D

Mornin Sandy :)
