I've been trying to post the FFRC Awards announcement in the Events Discussion below but have been unable to. I get an error that says Denied, you do not have permission to post on this server. What on earth is going on? I've posted here many times before. Is it broken??

The error message was just misleading. The problem was that the post was too long since I had included the decision-making discussion for the awards. (All participants agreed to being chatlogged.) When I broke it into two posts, I was able to post.

Several months ago they added a filter that seemed to try to catch things that looked like embedded Javascript. Recently it seems to have been expended, in a broken sort of way, to choke on anything that looks like it could be a SQL query. If there is any "computerish" punctuation in your posting, or words in your text that look like they could also be mistaken for commands, try reformatting and rephrasing to get rid of those.
eta: it's giving that stupid message for too-long posts now too? Epic win.
