I kept getting a 403 error when trying to create a new thread. Certain word combinations (that happen to match SQL keywords) cause the permission error.

Generally, the problem is caused by certain pairs of words in a specific order (but not necessarily together in the same line or paragraph):

- 'from' following 'select' or 'delete'
- 'into' following 'insert'
- 'set' following 'update'
- double quotes following 'select'
- dot dot slash

Those who aren't using their forum signatures for anything better might want to promote voting for this issue in their signature.

I wonder if this is the result of the either a change made pursuant to the new webpage or a response to a holiday griefing of the website.

Voted and upped the priority to major since it was surprisingly prioritized as normal.

Nothing surprising about it, I was the one that filed the Jira. The forum is the black sheep of the LL family and treated as such. Umpteen jillion votes and a higher priority have done nothing for the bbcode issue. October has come and gone on upgrading the forums with no clarification for what is a new date for the upgrade. LL will either fix this new problem or not, no matter what the priority is set at. The related WEB-917 was created on July 10th, has a Major priority and has been assigned to a Linden
