From: Sy Beck "Oi! Gurt yur cart outta ma ginnel ya bugger!" I see with the aid of 'elastictrickery' you are now connected to the 'IT Superginnelway' though. Hahaha. Yes, if I twang my abacus up the superginnelway with an elastictrickery band I can attain pretty broad speeds. Sorta kinda related to the original topic, I was just chatting with some people at Pooley Stage about yesterday's connectivity issues when somebody mentioned that all our London > New York internet traffic was now being routed via Paris as a temporary solution. "OMFG!" somebody replied. "I bought some Lindens yesterday. Does that mean I got charged 20% percent VAT and not 17.5%?" I didn't know whether to cry over such a stupid conclusion or congratulate him for his amazing lateral thought abilities.

From: Malachi Petunia "Shed load", you Brits and your quaint measurements. How many drams in a shed load? Bushels? Hogsheads? Or is more linear like rods, chains, or furlongs? Excuse me, I now have to go drive 2 miles to the store to buy a quart of milk, and three quarters of a pound of butter and a dozen doughnuts and put a couple of gallons of gas (which is liquid) in my car and all I have is a few pints of quarters and dimes to pay for it with. Although I shan't queue up for any of it. Bloody Brits and their bloody quaint measures can all sod off! Say 'ello to the Queen for me. LMFAO

From: Jesse Barnett Carpenter turned Surgeon????????????????????????? Do you still use duct tape???? No, but crazy glue is great for closing incisions :^). Besides, orthopedic surgeons are only glorified carpenters at best. They use hammers, drills, nails, screws and chisels all the time. I actually just type about it... medical transcriptionist. Still quite a change in careers, and a nice one. BTW, not kidding about the glue, but they call it Dermabond. O.o
