Does anyone know how long it takes to transfer $L funds into a SLEx account. I used a SLEx Bigwig ATM terminal about half an hour ago and the funds (12000) haven't appeared in my SLX account yet..is this normal. I've transferred funds on several occassions and the funds are always there as soon as I log into SLX..within minutes.

Maybe somebody's working out the VAT I should be paying on the transaction. Or maybe this is just another reason to feel less than happy with SL.

Thanks...Perre

Are you sure you paid Exchange Street and not someone else who put a prim over the atm?

I know that if you use the remote deposit, it takes up to 10 minutes.

Check your transaction history on your SL accounts page(s) to see who you actually paid.

This thread contains some sage advice about paying into your SLX account from inworld, including fuller explanations of that which Christalle just mentioned.

Yes checked that and it's showing it to be the genuine article, Terminal Bigwig. I'll have a look at the thread and I've chased up SLEx with a query message and an E Mail.

Thanks for the advice folks..it's probably just taking it's time getting there.

Who the hell is Terminal Bigwig? I don't even find an avatar by that name listed in-world.

All authorized SLEx terminals belong to Exchange Street.

I had the same reaction, but SLXTerminal Bigwig is listed on their site as an employee. I did think all payments went to Commerce Leader though.

Edit: I just dug a little deeper and the site does say valid terminals are owned by either Exchange Street or SLXTerminal Bigwig.

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

This is a long shot but is it possible that your are looking at a cached version of the SLEX site and that's why you're still seeing the same balance? Is it still the same after you hit "reload"?

Don't be afraid to use the big red HELP button on the SLX site. They tend to be very helpful there. :)

I agree. I've always gotten really exceptional customer service from the folks over at SLEX.

Don't worry. I have had this happen before, and panicked that my L$ had dissapeared after not showing for a few hours.

Open a support ticket, pass them the TN .. all will be sorted within a 24 hours.

Use the SLX support system. Happened to me too, the ATM even told that in chat. 10 hours later I had my money on my account. They are LOTS faster helping customers than LL!

Yep, usually they respond within 24 hours or next business day, unless they are swamped due to SL reasons. I'll give them loads of kudos on that!

In my case it turned out that the parcel owner where the atm I used was located had outside scripts turned off. An SLX employee contacted me and got my problem resolved.
