I thought being an all-gay band was their thing. Amazing how in the 70's we have a gay band (well mostly gay I guess) that was quite popular. Yet on American Idol quite a few people are upset one of the singers was a stripper in a gay bar, and many are happy another one was voted out because he was "obviously gay" |

The cop I think...
Victor Willis- Cop/Admiral (original lead singer/writer until late 1979). He returned in late 1981 for the 1982 album, Fox On The Box. He wrote the lyrics to all of the group's major hits, including "In the Navy", "Y.M.C.A.", "Macho Man", and "Go West". In addition, he wrote the lyrics for the songs "Milk Shake" and "Magic Night." from the Can't Stop the Music movie soundtrack. _____________________
