From: Emily Triskaidekaphobia I think its fine as it is for common avatars and the corporations and famous people can have the customs. Unfortunately so many users don't think too hard about their name when first signing up not realizing they are stuck with it (so you get a lot of Michael1234s) but with a bit of time reading the list and thinking about what personality you wish to convey you can get a pretty creative name from the stock list. I'm particularly fond of mine now, 13 has become a kind of trademark  If you and the OP had a child, you could name him Funkfenomenon Triskaidekaphobia.

I happen to be fond of my own name myself. I get all sorts of short versions of it as well.. heh DP, Dark, Poet, Other versions and such that could be taken as insults... But all in all, I am very happy with the name I have.

As for abbreviations, most people just settle on calling me Funk. That can be good or bad depending on the definition. "Hey guys, here comes that Funky dude..." Inevitably someone in the crowd says "Pee-You!" |
