thanks for the nice well wishes, I just wish they worked

(ended up visiting a friend in the hospital who had a reaction to an insect bite and went into anaphylactic shock)

she is ok now
scared us though :(

so sadly birthday not the best

I hope chips is better
(when I saw I shared a birthday with Chip it made me feel special and wanted to share that feeling with you all via this thread, I am sorry if this thread offended or bothered anyone)

anywho I am off to try to eat and settle from the day and not think scary negative thoughts about my friend who is still in the hospital

Thanks for the well wishes everyone :) It's appreciated. I had a nice mellow birthday that ended up kinda having a theme - the year of misshapen cakes. My mom sent me a box of cupcakes which the UPS guys must have used for a soccer ball. It looked like the aftermath of a cupcake commuter train accident. Then my friend's young kids baked me a cake which sorta resembled a candy and frosting volcano.

There was a lot of love in those cakes.
