You said you were leaving in that post and I just read about it. For once we weren't arguing. But you made a difference to me this week in real and it made me much happier than I would have been had I gone.

So please don't go from Forums. When it's closed we'll all go together. As a group. Not alone but in unison when they shut us down.

And Pep must stay, too. And Scylla, Desmond, Laura, Rioko, Brenda, Peel, Weston, Gabrielle, Suezanne - all of us - ALL OF US. Let's make sure Raymond doesn't leave coz he really is close to going. We may be a "Ship of Fools" but we need people like him to navigate for us.

Maybe I misread, but I thought Ray was just talking about not posting on that one thread?

Way more important to my mind is working to get him to put up his hamster again on SLU.

He's a moody Buddhist. They're the worst kind - transcendental bean-poling and singing with banjos and zithers when they get angry. Once he makes up his mind, the whole universe is screwed.

And see? he hasn't come back has he? I couldnt stay away the length of one post when I sulked.

I am sure he is curled up somewhere with a good book. Or tucking into the hamster chow.

Or passed out after gorging himself on hamster treats.

Or he could just be staying away to torture Jig

He may be sitting under a waterfall. Or weeding a moss forest. Or "O mani Padme-ing" his Bonsai collection or whatever Buddhists do for fun on a Sunday night.

Yes, Zodiac is horoscope. A book on the topic would go into depth as to what each thing meant, to the Nth degree. And it would talk about transcendent, ephemeral things in squiggly language.

He has a way of doing that. Ray is one of the best, and anyone who gets to know him is the better for it (even if he can be a little cranky at times ).

I always hope he will stay, but if he needs a break, I understand.

I've always been a huge Ray fan. I hope he makes enjoyable and productive use of his time away from forum posting. If it doesn't detract from other pursuits, I really hope he'll post more.

As for me ~ my guess is that I shall be here after all of you have gone, the next group goes, and the group after that. I've been around in some form or other here since 2003, know a few of you from well before SL existed, and go back to the days of FidoNet and kermit protocols. So don't worry about me

Hey, I watched KERMIT too! When I was a kid, my Dad would watch The Muppets with me. I loved that theatre and always wanted to act and sing in it. It was in a way one influence on me, I guess. Swedish Chef! LOL! "Pigs in Space"!

Friday Night, I reckon, it was on. That was in The Bahamas. Maybe it was on in USA at same time. Then I'd be allowed a late night swim in our pool with the pool lights on so it all glowed, and then bedtime. You mentioning Kermit again really brought back memories.

Bahamas are wonderful ~ they remind me a bit of the parts of the Pacific I'm comfy with, but so much closer to home. Yes, closer even while I'm on the west coast
